Amanda immigrated from England to New York City in 1976. She grew to love the fast pace and excitement of city living and worked for an oil trading and transportation company for ten years. She discovered the Cape when visiting with her family in the early 80's and spent many vacations here. The lower Cape reminded Mandy of parts of the "olde country" she had loved and within a short time she felt that this was the perfect place to run away to and enjoy a more natural and unspoiled environment.
After buying a vacation home in Wellfleet in 1988, Mandy and her family shortly broke away from the suburbs of New York and moved permanently to the Cape. Diana Treese, who in 12 year had become the number one real estate broker in the area, encouraged Mandy to pursue a new career in real estate. Together, they formed a great team and, after a few years, Mandy became her partner. In 1996, she received the GRI designation (Graduate, Realtor Institute). When you see GRI after a realtor's name, you can count on receiving the most knowledge and best guidance available from a real estate professional.
After Diana Treese retired, Mandy, along with Larry Peters, a former colleague of Diana's, established Prudential Cape Shores Real Estate. His sound financial advice and local knowledge combined with Mandy's strong real estate background helped form this strong partnership.
